Maths- Symmetry

we are learning about symmetrical  art and this is my art hope you like it, I did a star cause and we used scissors to cut the star and glue it on the orange paper. this is simetricle cause it is same on the same side and you cut though the middle of the paper.

We also did rotations  and we got to hold worms and we had news paper and we put it in water and we dried it and then we put it in the worm farm.

OMG ON TUESDAY 17th EMMA TWIG CAME TO OUR SCHOOL.

And then we stood up and we sung the national anthem and then after that we put a video on all about her and then some of the school did kappa Hakka.  To her and after that she came on to the stage. 

She said ( i lost two games when i came forth )

Emma Twigg Is A Leading Champion

Emma Twigg won the gold medal for  Rowing at Tokyo Olympics on Friday 2021 (2020).

Twigg looked strong in her race. She was in first place for the whole time. Sometimes she Looked like she was struggling. At the end she looked so happy and splashed the water. 

Twigg started rowing back in 2001 for Hawkes Bay Rowing club and Napier girls High School.

Within two years she was representing New Zealand.  

In conclusion she is a great rower and we can't wait until she comes back to the  next Olympics. 

The Boy With Wings

 we were lucky to watch a show. It was about this boy that  lived in a orchard and his grand mother planted some the apple trees and one night he had a dream of his grand mother talking about (find the boy with wings and your find you treasure). Then he went on a journey and he hopped on a boat and saw some birds. Then he started to follow them, he came up to a storm. Then his boat broke and then he drowned. Then he got washed up to a dessert and then he was like (oh no am in the middle of the desert). Then he was walking closer to find the boy with wings. Then he came up to a stand storm and he ran away from the sand storm. Then he saw a city and then he found the boy with wings and his treasure.

Refugee walk

W.A.L.T Write a brief recount 

On a Monday 10 of May we went for a refuge walk. We were walking, I was like ¨I know this road¨ and then we walked passed my house. So I told my friends and then we called my dog Chase but he didnt answer so we just kept on walking.  Always when the teachers blew there whistle we hide so we didnt get boomed  on. I had a lot of fun but I wouldnt like to be a refugee.

• In room 2 we are doing prayer routines. We were told to go in groups of four. My group chose to pray for Gods Creation, animals. If I could add something I would add more detail. Something I could do better is making my slide more interesting .

Thank you for driving me to camp. I really enjoyed chatting to Samuel during the drive to camp. Thank you for driving so fast because we were in the lead. Your nickname should've been Speedy Gonzalez.

I had lost of fun with you when we were doing the tramps (even though I was walking off)

Without you camp would not of been same. I enjoyed doing the dishes with you. I would love to know some of your favourite parts during camp!
